Do You Suffer From "Fat-Finger" Disease?

Do you suffer from "fat-finger" disease?  For those that aren't aware, fat-finger disease is when you constantly press the wrong (or multiple buttons) on a keyboard or keypad.  Touchscreen smartphones have significantly increased the problem, as there are no actually buttons to press while you are typing.  It leads to a lot of typos and often hilarious auto-corrects (such as those that fill Damnyouautocorrect.com).

A new project at KickStarter is looking at producing a solution to the fat finger epidemic.  QwikKeyz is a screen cover that places raised touch points over all the 'keys' on your touchscreen keyboard.  By pressing on the raised touch point, you are less likely to incorrectly hit the wrong 'key'.

QwikKeyz is essentially a skin for you iPhone.  It connects to the lcd screen of your iPhone utilizing static electricity, meaning if you opt to remove it later, there will be not sticky residue left behind.  To apply it, you simply line up the alignment guide at the top with your phone and press it flat with a credit card (to remove any air bubbles).
Upon their release, QwikKeyz will be available for the iPhone 3 and 4 in both landscape and portrait configurations (with other models of touchscreen phones soon to follow).  They will be available in white, black, blue, pink, green and purple (however, the color is only on the alignment guide).  To assist in getting QwikKeyz on the market, you can make a pledge at KickStarter; they need to raise another $8500 by June 3rd to receive financial backing from Kickstarter.  Making a pledge of $12 will pre-order you a QwikKeyz keypad (which are set to retail for $14.95).  A pledge of $30 will pre-order you a landscape keypad, portrait keypad, and smooth skin.
